This is a 30mm magnetic locking ring mount set for picatinny rails. This set allows the user the ability to instantly attach and remove a 30mm scope to their rifle using their picatinny rail without affecting the zero**. The locking mechanism is dual-redundant and secures the accessory against inadvertent detachment.
Remove the scope, store it, snap it back on and don't worry about the zero. The set uses high-strength, rare-earth magnets (rated at over 15 lbs each) and our patented, precisely machined mounts.
These rugged mounts are machined out of 7075-T6 aluminum alloy and MIL-A-8625 Type III (hard coat) anodized for an optimized balance of wear, strength, and mass.
The distance from the rail to the tube centerline is 38.5mm.
**Zero shift is accurate and repeatable to within 0.25 MOA for calibers with a free recoil energy equal to or less than that of .308 WIN (~18 in-lbs).
